Carolyn is a non-profit executive with 30+ year experience in international and local development organizations.
Throughout her career, Carolyn’s focus has been to give voice to and improve the lives of the most marginalized, women, children, immigrants and minority groups.
Carolyn has held a range of leadership positions with international NGOs such as Save the Children, World Vision, and Plan International, in the United States and in other parts of the world, namely Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa.
She has developed and managed programs on community and women led development, child trafficking, family reunification, immigrant rights, and emergency food, shelter, and education.
As a trained anthropologist, Carolyn has strong process skills in training, and in organizational development and mobilization; change management; team building; strategic planning; corporate and individual gift fundraising; grant writing; gender integration, and faith and diversity.
Carolyn is fluent in English and Spanish and conversational in Haitian Creole
